THE CAPITALIST PARTY MANIFESTO

Product no.: HP239

Defects within our democracy and what we can do to change it!

Christopher W. Morrall

The Capitalist Party Manifesto delves into the inherent faults of the political systems and democracies around the world that are adversely affected by, among others, the prevalence of career politicians, influence from powerful pressure groups, revolving door politics and corruption. Christopher Morrall identifies the reasons why democracy breaks down and why it cannot succeed in its current format.

Presented in concise chapters, the author provides workable solutions and new theories, including the wider participation in politics at all levels and the revamping of the elections process.

As Morrall states in his Foreword, “There has never been a better time to stand up and be counted and seek change in what is becoming a stagnant parliamentary system.”

Christopher W. Morrall has always had a keen interest in politics and dabbled in student politics at university. He shied away from local and national politics noticing that too many of today’s generation of politicians enter the arena without any real-world experience. Instead, he chose to travel the world and meet people at a local level to see for himself how those countries really are, and not how the media often portrays them. His experiences and ideas over time have evolved into this book.
