Pamela Ali

Pamela was born and grew up in London in the 1940s and 50s. She is one of five sisters – one of whom is her twin – and was married at the age of seventeen. She left school in her early teens and would be the first to admit that life within the education system was an unhappy affair. However, since her late teenage years she felt compelled to express herself in verse and prose. Pamela worked as a nurse for more than fifteen years and for the past twenty-five years has cared for the elderly.

This collection reflects upon issues as diverse as world affairs, Mother Nature and relationships with close members of her family.
